Howey Lane Road Closure - 18 February for 20 days!

Howey Lane is going to closed on 18 February for up to 20 days.  We're all going to have to manage with the inconvenience - but it is for a very good reason.  As most of us will have noticed the drains on Howey Lane can't cope with torrential rain.  CWaC is going to replace them.   This won't be a small task either.

I've seen 'fountains' from the manhole covers, the occasional cover blown off, and lots of evidence of water streaming down the road.  Residents on Howey Lane have also had to put up with water running into their properties too.  I'm also delighted that CWaC is looking to install a permanent solution.

If you'd like to read the formal TRO - here it is.
